There is something seriously wrong with their customer service (lack thereof). I can instantly remember the stress and the disrespect from the woman on the phone. you get burned and you hesitate to ever put your hand over that fire again. Despite being refunded after the second day of arguing (the stress decreased my life span I swear lol) every time I’m tempted to order something, I end up emptying my cart and try finding the item or something similar, elsewhere. I said I would pull my business, they essentially told me to take a flying leap. I never return anything ever and have been an extremely loyal customer. They rebuffed me twice until I completely lost it. I spent two days, 45 minutes each convo trying to get a refund. After a package was marked delivered, around $300 I was home at delivery time and it never arrived despite being marked “delivered”. I used to buy everything from Nordstrom and was a very loyal customer. You see people complaining daily on their social media of this same thing so make sure to blast them there as well, if anything it’ll at least warn others to not do business with them. Eventually they relented, but I think this is the exception not the rule. So I kept at them saying there’s no theft if there’s no proof of delivery so a police report would be irrelevant and this is between them and the carrier, who has no proof of delivery. They refused to refund me again saying the same subpoena line/telling me to file a police report. I then forwarded their email to Nordstrom saying the carrier is saying they don’t have proof, but you’re withholding my money based on the proof you say they provided which you won’t show me without a subpoena. So i went to the carrier (LaserShip) and asked for proof of delivery, which the carrier couldn’t provide. They kept saying to me that they had proof from the carrier it was delivered but i would need a subpoena. So sorry! So i ended up getting a refund honestly just be being annoying/unrelenting lol. Sorry that happened, and I hope you got it resolved. However, there’s no excuse for sending the customer the wrong stuff. I am in the Cedar Rapids FC, and we were on mandatory OT (1 or 2 extra days) for all but 4 weeks in 2021. ![]() (The usual level of micromanagement is pretty high…reasons for this are too long for this reply.) sooo… people will go fast to get mgmt off their backs. Processors are graded primarily on speed, with quality/accuracy a distant second (in terms of priority.) People get fired for being too slow (at least they did before covid), and are subject to “success plans”, “improvement plans”, and a much higher level of micromanagement than usual. More likely is that someone was in a hurry and mixed up shipping labels. (Your order number tells me who last touched your order before it was sent out.) The scales are supposed to kick off any packages where there is a discrepancy between the actual weight and the weight on the label, but that obvs didn’t work. ![]() ![]() If someone wants to steal small items, they won’t do it from an order that has their digital fingerprints on it. However, if you are ordering jewelry or cosmetics and not getting the items, that might be fraud, but also not likely. It’s probably not fraud, assuming you are dealing with clothes and shoes (harder to steal). 5th, last resort, if none of this works, blast them on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Be polite, but share the fact that you are a long time customer and that you are “very disappointed” by the rep’s attitude and that you are sad that a long term customer such as yourself is being indirectly accused of fraud (which is what the rep was doing). 3rd, file a dispute with the credit card with which you paid. If they ship a replacement, ask them to send it “signature required”. Every rep is different, and if you don’t have a history of claiming “porch pirate theft”, they might either refund you or ship a replacement. If any part of it is incorrect, it (the package) could float around in limbo forever. First, check the address your sweater was shipped to and make sure it is accurate. I work at a Nordstrom distribution center and have worked in th3 call center and all areas of the warehouse.
